I am a "Believer and a sinner"...

Not a Christian....
Not a Baptist....
Not Catholic...
Not Pentecostal...

And how the list could go on....

There are to many people calling themselves something that they are not....or that to them means something totally different then the person next to them also calling themselves the same.

I wanna be what HE wants me to be....
Not what my religion....
or even to some extent my Pastor tells me to be....

The time has come to stand for all we BELIEVE in....
....to give praise in ALL we do!!!!

well it has been a LONG week...

starting with Troy...on and off from Sunday night to Tuesday night...
then Colby on Tuesday eve until about 2am....
Then finally Mason last night from 8:15 until about 5:30 this morn....

I think we are finally past it all....
I thank God that all we got was the stomach flu...

I am not sure where to pick up on with life....
I know it is going to start with a bottle of....
....bleach and a bucket of HOT water!!!!

I think we are actually all going to make it to the Harvest Festivities this week end...
I have to say along with my sister that this time of year is my fave....
I love Thanksgiving....probley because I love food...

I will leave you with a funny story....
(where these kids come up with these things)

A few days ago Mason walks up to me with this Hair/Wig thing on...
it is from a hulk costume(so the hair is black)...
He says...(in a VERY girly voice)....
"Have you seen Mason Davis...
I am Micheal Jackson and I cannot find him.."

It might not sound so funny...but it was :)

well....
I soo so should be cleaning my house. Eric just took the older boys to the bowling alley. My floors are a mess....have not done the dishes since Thursday. My laundry on the other hand is almost done. But there are so many other things I need to do....
but I needed to take a quick break.

Colby slept in his big boy bed ALL night....no fight to go to bed, laid right down and went to sleep.
Makes me a bit sad. I remember taking the crib down for Troy,I remember I blogged about it on Myspace and I did actually cry about it....then 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant for Colby...we will NOT be repeating that this time....I'm putting it up on Craig's list and if I EVER get pregnant again....that baby will go on Craig's list too!!!!....well unless it is a girl that is them maybe one of the others I have will go...;) just kidding:P

OK I went to the mall last night, got some new face lotion(clinique) and splurged and got some blush for a bronzer....anyway I went into Maurice's....I LOVE that store....they have such cute things. I cannot wait to go on a shopping spree....well we will find out if it will be soon(Mon).

OK....my brake is over and I think Colby went to sleep AGAIN in his big boy bed with NO problems.....I love that kid, he is super sweet. When I find my camera(yes it is MIA) I will post some pics of his super cool "big boy bed"....that he is mighty proud of too!!!!

I could say that I have no time to blog....
that would be a lie.

I will try to update you in few words...

Its cold....
I hate it...
I'm poor...
I hate it...
I'm fat...
I hate it...

Just kidding :)
Well it is all true But I wanna be positive!

I feel like I am in a rut in my life...
I am stuck and I really don't know how to get out.
I know that God is or HAS been trying to speak to me.
I know he has an amazing plan for my life...
and for my family....
there is no way or reason why people go through these life trials and not be able to use it to help others.
I feel like there is so much I love about my life....but yet feel so unfulfilled...?
Do I make any sense???
I know that is because God has a greater call on my life....
I know it needs to start with teaching my boys about Gods Love and Faithfulness.
Yes....I TRY to teach them God's word and to have moral convictions....
but I feel like a failure at it.
I want them to have such a confidence and realization of WHY we believe what we do.
Yeah they are 5,3 and 1....but it is never to early.
But lately I want to live the truth I am teaching them and I know I fall short.
I know that nobody is perfect...
we are all sinners....
but Do I live as I teach....
I don't want to be a "do as I say not as I do parent."
There is so much wrong with that I don't know where to start.
And to many people are blinded to the fact that is how they are.
And if we as parents don't change.....
are kids are going to be the ones to pay the price...
mine included!

Well there you have it....
Right now my insides are outside....

Uuuhh....

Ok....more then a week passed, and no blog!
Let me tell you I wish it were because life came to a halting stop....
NOPE.....Life goes on....
and on...

I think if I tried a little harder life could be easier....
but I think that it is to much work to try harder...
it is a very vicious cycle.

Mason in Kindergarten....
Mason not at all liking kindergarten.
Me not liking homeschooling this week....
what was I THINKING...????

Troy....starting pre-school in a few weeks...
you say why homeschooling one and not the other...?
In reality I should just tell you I need a VERY strong
prescription and a padded room to homeschool Troy...
but I will just say that when the time comes for Troy
to be in kindergarten we will cross that bridge!!!

Colby...well we are seeing signs of great interest in....
POTTY TRAINING!!! I am taking my time in that....
or I might just let Eric do all the work....

We will see how it goes :)

Other then that...

NO TV for 5 weeks now in the living room, puking dog for 2 days(and a vet bill of almost 100 dollars), diet going down hill, weight going up hill, got all my laundry done this week(WOOHOO),
just scheduled a physical and pap for next month, gettin ready for my monthly visitor, had a garage sale last 2 week ends(made 3-4 hundred), went to the movies (uugg ate popcorn), desided to rip up carpet in living room and paint floor and maybe repaint walls.....

ok later folks...going to Grand Haven with the family....
and if I remember to blog....I will tell you about it (don't hold your breath).

Day #1

Well...I am going to start of by saying I know very little about life. I only know that what comes at me day to day has to be it!
I love my family...and the few friends I have I love a bunch!
I have tried this BLOG thing before...but could not stick with it, I hope to this time :}

My thoughts will be random....my stories sometimes humorous...and my spelling really bad...

I wanna to be insightful....insperational...and encouraging to my readers....if I have any! I need my Mandie friend to help promote me :D

OK....so one of the biggest changes in our life lately is that we (well I) decided to home school our oldest son Mason. I guess that God decided for us....after my own Mother and Husband pressured me for a few weeks. Me being a prodigy of homeschooling...and though I am not against it...and give BIG kudos to those who do....I told myself for years I would NEVER do it. I have 3 boys...3 very...VERY active boys! I looked so forward to the day that all day kindergarten started. When the teacher could deal with my kids... Well that day would have been yesterday....and needless to say we are on day #2 of homeschooling. I think...NO....I KNOW God changed my heart...because I actually enjoy it and look forward to doing it!!!

So there goes....day #1 of Blogging....
we will see tomorrow if it will be about school...?
maybe about my yo yo of dieting and exercise...(this week the exercising is GREAT...not so much the diet)....
maybe a humorous story of my lovely children....
who knows...
